MEMBER OF MEETINGS NOTICE

    The Meeting of Members and Parents meeting for Civic Youth Orchestra, Inc. will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2008, at 12:15 pm in room D-10 of the Music Building at Palomar College, 1140 West Mission Road, San Marcos, California.

    At the Meeting of Members we will elect the Board of Directors for the coming year and we do have openings for additional board members that we need to fill. If you have a desire to serve on the Board, please come prepared to add your name to the nominations. If you have questions on responsibilities as a member of the Board, please feel free to contact any current Board member. This is an opportunity to become involved in this exceptional organization and to help shape its future.

    During the Parent meeting, we will give you information on upcoming events, concerts, opportunities to become involved, concert attire, etc. The conductors and administration of the orchestra will be available to answer your questions.

    If you can, this will be an excellent opportunity for you to visit and listen to an ensemble rehearsal. Rehearsals begin at 9:00 am for the Symphony and Intermediate Chamber Orchestras and at 10:00 am for Wind Ensemble, Primary Orchestra and Intermediate Orchestra.
